I've been counting on Bonner to fill Horry's shoes. It's taken a looooong time, but it's beginning to happen.

Matt was CLUTCH tonight.

I hope you're hungry, because this serving of crow is SUPERSIZED.

Gotta give you credit Jose for owning up to Bonner doing well, but I agree it's still the regular season. Here's to Bonner raising heck in postseason!

Is it just me or Matt Bonner developed the pump fake put down the ball and dribble to the basket.
He did not have that move last season

Bonner is a good role player for this team and is disciplined. He doesn't make any turnovers it seems. When he is hot it is great for the spurs. Remember when Lamar Odom had a tough night in San Antonio. Kudos to Matt Bonner guarding Odom while Blair owned Gasol. I like the Bonner-McDyess rotation pop does throughout the flow of the game.JAMES ANDERSON COME BACK BUDDY!!

I know all Jose really wants is for Matt to bring it when it counts... in the playoffs.

He used to do it a fair bit but it never produced anything good. I still cringe every time I see him do it. I don't get why he doesn't just develop a one-dribble pull-up shot for when the defense comes flying out at him, NOOOO, he has to freaking try to get all the way to the rim. Glad it worked out last night though, he had like 3 straight trips inside the lane in the 3rd that he got buckets on.

That's part of why it works. A player can see it on tape 100 times and he'll still think "there's no WAY that is going to work again."

Awkward translates to difficult to defend. Same reason Manu is so effective....seems out of control, but isn't. (At least that's the theory)

That's got to send Jose over the edge.
Matt and Manu are SO alike!

Manu=crafty

please don't insist Bonner is crafty lol the reason Bonner is making those shots and opponents are giving him those drives is because they don't think he can make them. wait till the playoffs when defenses try to bait Bonner into doing that and clogging the paint to make him make a decision.
