1. Kris Versteeg, Blackhawks. He played less than 14 minutes, but Versteeg was the most persistent, and effective, offensive force on the night for the Hawks. The winger set up Brent Seabrook on Chicago's opening goal, demanded the attention of Alexander Edler on a two-on-one, freeing Patrick Sharp for an uncontested lay-up on the second, then gave the Hawks their first lead of the game with just 90 seconds to go. The winner came as the result of his ability to find a hole in Vancouver's coverage and a nasty wrister that beat a sprawling Roberto Luongo up high.
