?*The NBA players’ union has filed a charge with the National Labor Relations Board*claiming the league has failed to bargain in good faith so far in the talks over a new collective bargaining agreement. Lawrence Katz, the lawyer who filed the complaint with the union, explained the process to me, and suffice it to say for now that it is a complicated and long one. The NBA will get a chance to file its own papers in response, and the regional office of the NLRB (in New York) will eventually decide whether there is enough here to file a complaint with a judge.*
