1. Dave Bolland, Blackhawks -- No question about this No. 1 pick. Bolland hadn't played a game since March 9, since suffering a concussion in Tampa Bay, but there was as much rust in his game as on a 2011 Beemer still in the showroom. Bolland had a goal, three assists and a plus-4 to help keep the defending Stanley Cup champions alive against Vancouver, all in just 15:58 of ice time. Bolland was just the kind of utility guy the top-heavy Blackhawks had been missing. It's probably too late for Chicago still, but we saw a comeback from 3-0 last year for the first time in 35 years, so who knows?
