Lee writes that Fox News, and in particular Glenn Beck, continues to ignore the facts "in an attempt to smear the Administration's efforts to win the Olympics for the United States." He has subsequently indicated he was referring to the Calgary Olympics. Just glancing, it's kind of hard to pin down exactly how much money that Olympics really lost-- estimates range from $300 million to $900 million-- one source indicates the debt took $1.2 billion to pay off.

We won't know how much the Calgary Olympics lost because they are holding the Olympics in 2010.
