seinfeld fans?

im only 21 so seinfeld is considered a "too old" show for me. but after being hazed with episodes by some of my older friends, i have to admit that its probably the funniest show ive ever seen. The characters aren't exact eye candy (for guys or girls i think) its still incredibly enjoyable and entertaining.

Further, i think theres a great deal of influence from seinfeld in todays comedies. For example, friends. before seinfeld i was a big friends fan because it was such an "in" show, but after watching seinfeld its pretty much the same show. some situations are even exact. of course we see influences in The office, Frank TV, etc.

just wanted to see if there are any other seinfeld fans here.

some funny clips that are online:

YouTube - Frank Caliendo Seinfeld 2027 - Frank TV...

Was it planned for there to be a "Get Seinfeld Ringtones" in the advertisments when I opened this thread? Or is it a smart advertiser than knows what's in the threads?

At any rate, I'm just a few years older than you, but I love Seinfeld, as do most of my friends. It was the show, and I think it has been influential. I'm not sure about the 'eye candy' part, I don't watch a lot of television, but the humor was smart on Seinfeld. Honestly it is one of those immortal shows in my mind.

Most definetly an american comedy. My wife from Costa Rica, who didnt get here till about 5 years ago doesnt understand why the show is funny. Plus the show didnt translate well over in Costa, if that makes sense. I'll sit on the couch for an entire weekend busting up laughing and she'll just look at me like Im crazy...lol.

Hah. Yeah that's the one.

I can't remember the name of it but I had a book by Seinfeld that came out in the early 90's, black cover with his face on it.

Kramer made seinfeld. Without him I do'nt think i would be able to watch. Jerry was the least watchable on the show.

surfthechannel.com - watch seinfeld eps and pretty much about everything.

Still love this show and watch every rerun that is on, assuming I am actually home and able to watch. This show will go down as one of the best comedies ever.

Ya...its pretty much the greatest show ever...or at the least, a top 5 of all time. I have almost every line of every episode in my head. Clients will challenge me with questions, but I always get them.

i used to agree, but i had a phase with all the characters. first i loved kramer but hated geogre, but over time i found geogre hilarious and that elaine and jerry were the worst, but in the end i think i enjoy every character both individually and as a group.
