An island was swept by a tsunami after the earthquake. Casualties there are unknown.
As the matter of fact, we hardly have heard the whole truth.
I think Chile's President must stop being proud and stubborn and ask for helping hands instead of money.
This is a big tragedy even considering Chile is a seismic zone and are well prepared for these developments.

I know someone who is in Santiago. She said the quake wasn't bad where she was, but said its a MESS there right now.
