financial question bout the Spurs
 

I have no idea where to post this but my friend is writing a paper and he needs to know does the State of Texas get money from the Spurs directly or indirectly. Like how does the state benefit from their home team, economic/money wise?
If anyone has an answer my friend would be very grateful.
