Freakin' snow in April....
 

Damn. What a cold, miserable-ass weekend. We got about 6 or 7 inches of snow. Never seen bluebonnets covered with snow before, but here it is.....And this was before the HEAVY snow came :banghead

global warming! but hey, this is pretty much an anomaly, climate wise.

Yeah, it was pretty weird. Three years ago, it snowed on Easter, but that was the first of April, not the middle. This one was about 2 weeks later than then.....Pisses me off, too. I HATE winter :D

Ya, it snowed pretty good where I am in Dallas, but the ground was too warm so it didn't stick.

This time of year I am always anxious to get planting and was going to get started last Tuesday and my grandmother butted in and told me (as she does EVERY SINGLE YEAR) don't count a freeze out till after Easter Monday. I can't believe the weather this weekend. It ruined all of my easter picture taking plans with my kids.

our easter plans were semi-ruined. we ended up hiding the eggs inside and the kids thought it was the best ever to crack the eggs and get the living room dirty. it took foreverrrrrr to vaccuum it out !!!!!
