CBS Corp. selling 2 San Antonio Radio Stations August 23, 2006 NEW YORK --Media company CBS Corp. said Wednesday it will sell two radio stations in San Antonio, Texas, to Border Media Partners LLC for $45 million in cash. The sale of the two stations, KTSA-AM and KJXK-FM, comes after CBS said it would consider selling its radio stations in ten of its smaller markets. With the latest sale, CBS has sold 17 radio stations in five markets to date. The sale is subject to customary conditions, including regulatory and other approvals. Border Media Partners is the nation's biggest privately held Hispanic radio company, based on the number of stations. On Monday Entercom Communications Corp. said it would buy 15 CBS radio stations in Austin, Texas; Cincinnati; Memphis, Tenn. and Rochester, N.Y.
