My Dad works in home health care and visits many patients daily. He usually develops a close frienship with many of them and recently, one elderly man gave my Dad a gift - an authentic Sears & Roebuck Fall 1900 catalogue. It is in great condition, none of the pages are dog-eared. The catalogue, which is no bigger than a Reader's Digest, was his father's and since he had no son he decided to give it to my Dad. I thought that was really nice of him to do. Anyway, my Dad said he'd give it to me someday. That thing is already over 100 years old! I'm sure so many years from now a couple of people out there are gonna be willing to pay top dollar for something like that...or am I just being too optimistic?

it's worth whatever anyone would pay, which probably isn't much. i wish for you it is worth something but i just don't think it would be. how much is a confederate dollar worth? (next to nothing)

I think it might be valuable for the following reasons: -It is in good condition, esp for its age. -Sears and Roebuck played an important role in American commercial history, esp in changing the way goods were marketed and sold, I watched a video on it in US history in high school.
