Very nice pics Scrub. Thanks for sharing them with us. What was the weather like?

Did you go to a Rockies game?

Nope...that was actually my second time. I didn't post pictures of my first time, which was about five minutes before that, and showed me falling after only about 10 feet of climbing.
I fared better this time, and made it about three quarters of the way up, and couldn't take it anymore. That is waaaaaay harder than it looks.

The weather was beautiful. Highs in the 80s, nightime lows in the high 50s/low 60s. It rained one day (in Glen Eryie).

We didn't see a Rockies game (much to my disappointment). They were only in town Sat and Sun of last week. We got there on Saturday, and no one else really wanted to go on Sunday. The Rangers were in town, and I thought it'd be cool to see a Texas team in another park, but oh well....still had a good time.

My wife's cousin and his wife made it to the top, and they do it pretty regularly. I guess it's all about shifting weight and balance. I have too much weight to shift and keep balanced at the same time.

It's about technique, Balance, weight, and force, but almost all technique.

Cool pix, Scrub. The best vacation I ever had was the time a girlfriend and I rented a car and just drove around CO for two weeks. Did you go to Cripple Creek?

No Cripple Creek...no one ever mention that. There were two places that we didn't go that I really wanted to...Pike's Peak (but I'd been there before) and Seven Falls.

For the right price, yes! Except, I'm not sure how harsh the winters get in the mountains, but the summers are absolutely beautiful.
