Have you ever wondered about how much a single decision you make at one point in life could change the path of where or what you do in life? Case 1: in the middle of my sophmore year i changed highschools, i wasnt doing so hot in school and something told me to change schools and i did. my grades sky rocketed and i met some friends that im still close friends with till this day. what told me to change schools? just a random decision and gut instinct. if i didnt change schools, would my grades continued to have slumped and ended up going to some random community college and ended up bumming the rest of my life? who knows... Case 2: i was dead set to going to univ of houston bc i didnt see a need to leave houston. one day in highschool while getting ready for work i went downstairs and saw mail from UTSA with an application and brochure...i said screw it and went ahead and applied just to do. i ended up going to utsa and doing well in college and finishing and found a decent job. would that happened at uh? the people i was surrounded by in college, which happened to be from houston also, motivated me to do as well as them, hence finishing early. would i have found these same kind of people in univ of houston? the accounting program is pretty hard to get into UH, would i have been able to rebound from a slacking semester or would i have been forced to change majors bc i wouldnt have been able to get into the specific college i went to? there all have been points in our lives when a simple decision was made and the decision was pretty much a fork in the road...one way or the other. do the decisions we make always benefit for the better? or do we sometimes make the wrong decisions, or does it seem like the wrong decisions at the time but end up being the right decision later on in life? what decisions have yall made that was pretty much one way or the other and paved the road of your life? do you think you made the right decision? someone once said: In the end, everythings always going to be ok, if things arent ok, then it is not the end. |

HOLY CRAP ![]() KTD, are you drunk???? Or just finally sober?! WTF happened to you? This post made sense! ![]() I've had two experiences similar to what you're describing. The first changed my entire outlook on life really. I went from a pessimistic, sour attitude to a more cheery outlook on this in a couple of seconds. The second was deciding to ask my best friend to be my girlfriend. It was kinda nervewracking at the time, but it was worth it. Even though we aren't together just now.
