In San Antonio, not the best place to stay, but absolutely great when you're going to NIOSA next door is the Hilton Palacio Del Rio. BTW, check out my avatar, it's from the seventh floor balcony right before the wife and I went next door to party.

Camino Vista on the Westside of town. One of the rooms had mirrors on the ceiling and walls. 20 bucks for 2 hours.

I believe it's called Lowes Vandy....in Nashville; across from Vanderbilt...also the Hermitage in Nashville was real nice....Driscol was cool.
