I do not have a personal experience, but as a photojournalist I did a story with our local health dept. and they said to stay away from pretty much every oriental establishment in our area.

Anyway, the health dept worker told me that a local restaurant has been closed numerous times for violations. The violations include the owners washing thier underwear in the same sink that was used to prepare food!! It was hanging up drying and dripping into the sink!!

Do not eat a hotdog at the AT&T Center during the first quarter of a game. They sell the leftovers from the previous game...

Definately definately definately do not eat at the Sombreror's Mexican food on Greenfield drive in Lakeside CA,

I ate there once and ended up in the hospital crapping out of my mouth. So I tried it again a few months later thinking it couldn't have been the mexican food. Sure enough I end up in the hospital crapping out of my mouth.

I either eat Pizza Hut or Whataburger whenever I go to a game.

no no no, you're confusing the restaurant with the meat they serve.

The Olive Garden at Bitters/281 is consistently good.

I had a buddy who was a health inspector and he also said to stay away from all Chinese restaurants as well. They were always citing them for violations and they rarely passed. He also said Jack in the Boxes always scored the highest after that episode in Seattle where people died from eating Jack's food.

I can also confirm from by busboy days at Alamo Cafe that yes, if you are the first ones in to eat lunch, then that chicken fried steak you are eating is left over from the nite before. It's why I hate eating lunch earlier than noon.

It could be they are a local chain of Mexican resturaunts in San Diego County and I beleie that is where Blink is from. They probably aren't talking about the same one.

See, I prefer not to know. Health code violations are what gives good food its flavor.

all...as in every single one in SA? I doubt ALL of them are bad. My wife and I have a select few we like here in town and their not the whole in the wall ones (PF Changs, Golden Wok on Wurzbach, China Latina, Formosa Garden, Hsiu yu on Broadway - know the owner..gone there since I was a kid)

naw, not those type of places.......the hole in the wall type places.......

you're taking your own chance at eating at any hole in the wall, no matter what the food, but the Chinese restaurants like that are consistently the worst

McDonald's put me in the hospital for two days, and my uncle for four. I've eaten there twice in the last four years, and those were out of desperation. Their salads and parfaits have as many calories as their faux-burgers...
