Husband On Strike To Get Bedroom Back

Link

A frustrated husband is trying to prove his point to his wife by going on strike, Detroit television station WDIV reported.

James Wilson of Redford, Mich., has been spending his days on the roof of his home because he says he wants his wife, Valentina, to keep their 3-month-old daughter and 2-year-old son out of the bedroom at night.

Wilson said the children in the bedroom are causing an intimacy issue, but Valentina said the kids will remain in the room, WDIV reported.

Both Wilsons said they have a very happy marriage, but this is a problem.

"I want my bedroom back and the diapers and toys removed immediately," said James Wilson.

Wilson has been visiting his Web site, where he is reading comments from people who he said agree with him.

I wait until my daughter is asleep in our room, then I put her in her bed.

I dont know the details, but on the surface, this guy looks like a doofus.

Dweeb is used more often than doofus.

Remember that dweeb from American Idol?

My kids only slept in my bedroom while they were newborns, during the first month. Then They always, always slept in their own room.

That I can relate too cause both of my girls slept in my room when they were born ( maybe a month or so after they were born but no longer than that) but they did have their own bed/crib they were not and never slept in my bed.

When my daughter was born our house was like this she slept with us until she was 2 and it was horrible. With my wife and my second child. The baby slept with us for about a month, much better I have nothing but sympathy for the guy. and the wife needs to stop being so selfish it will help her marriage and help her kid.

I never had a problem with my daughter sleeping in our bed. In fact, in the instances she slept in her own room, I couldnt sleep because I was up all night going to check on her.

Our little guy slept with us for about 6 months, we tried the crib on occassion, but it was just too much work to go get him for night-time feedings, so we tended to just cuddle up with him and be happy. Eventually his sleep patterns were putting a strain on all of us, so we moved him down to the crib permanently....although every morning he's back in our bed at about 5AM for a feeding. If he were two or three and this was still happening, then I'd think we had a problem on our hands, but as it is we are all quite happy.
