Believe it or not I have never eaten from a street vendor. Although I do hear that the ones in NY are the best ... is that right TJ? If so, will you take me next time you go, cause I have never been to NY and would love to go.

We have lots of street festivals here during the Summer and there are plenty of food vendors that set up at those, and I definitely get something there when I'm hungry....after all, its that the purpose of the street festival in the first place. Once in Mexico I got the best margarita of my life from a street vendor, he made each one individually and even squeezed the limes into each glass |

i eat off the eggroll cart at UT and the pizza or taco carts off 6th street. i also love those Snappy Snack taco trucks tha tpull up to construction sites. My favorite thing is to eat tacos off the carts in mexico or the hotdogs wrapped in bacon

Ive drinken the margs off of the cart guy in Mexico too......they load those things up thick with tequila. good stuff. My wife likes to get the cinnamon churros of the cart guy down there. Usually it's windy and dusty and their deep fryer is wide open with no screens of any kind to block stuff from dropping in, so I go ahead and pass on it. |

you don't find much of that here. you've got your roasted corn and raspa stands. But yeah seems it would be a convenient idea, but only in locations where there's walking traffic. No wonder it does so well in NY |
