I dont understand how this can happen in one city so many times! Do you not have to take driving classes to obtain a license in San Antonio? Take a look.................. A wrong-way driver in a pick-up truck slams head-on into a car, killing that driver after his car burst into flames. Passers by stopped to try to rescue the man by putting out the fire, but the man died at the scene. It happened just before 3AM on I-35 North at Thousand Oaks. The driver was headed south on the north bound lanes when he slammed into the car. Traffic was shut-down while crews cleaned up the scene. The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Officers tell News 4 blood will be drawn to see if the man was intoxicated at the time of the accident. The Medical Examiner was called out to help identify the body of the victim To me it seems like this is the 6th or 7th incident this year!

I dunno, but I'd say at 3am it probably wasnt that he was as a much a bad driver as was an idiot for driving intoxicated. I'd be shocked if the blood tests came back and showed him under the legal limit...... I bet he had just left Cowboys Dance Hall.... heck, now that I think about it.....how in the world did he get onto I-35 heading north in the southbound lanes? I'm not sure I could figure how to get on the high way like that sober even if I wanted to... |

Merry Christmas. You're dead. That is so sad. I hate these things, especially around Christmas, because Christmas will never be the same for anyone involved. |

That's horrible. My mom always tells me to be careful when I go out. I always tell her that I'm not stupid enough to drink and drive. Then she reminds me that there are others who are and those are the ones you have to look out for. I pray for the family of the innocent person who was just driving.
