Which game would you most want to attend? (ESPN Poll)

I thought this was interesting. The NBA gets no love.... who should we blame? STERN

I chose Super Bowl, btw.

you can vote at espn.com

Which would you choose?

I've been to 4 of the 5 NBA Finals games played in San Antonio, including Game 6 2003. There's nothing in the world like watching your team play for the ultimate prize on the sports biggest stage. To see camera flash bulbs literally fill the Alamodome during the NA of game 1 1999, is a as surreal as it gets. To know that the focus of the basketball world is on that one room at that very moment. Wow.

To be in the building and watch your team win their 2nd NBA championship, and watch the franchise's greatest player play in his final game ever was truly unforgettable. In my heart of hearts, and because I'm an NBA nut, I'd like to say the NBA Finals, but I won't.

The SuperBowl is still the preeminent sports event in this country. Despite that it's usually one-sided, people from all walks of life and interests, even non-sports fans, gather to watch. To be in the stadium for a SuperBowl is the ultimate sporting experience.

Right behind Wrestlemania.

Laura:

Hockey Playoffs are soooooooooo fun though, especially if your city is a hockey city, the streets are full of cars honking, and all the pubs stay open late...

I choose NBA game 7 though

Then you can never live in Canada, cuz it's Hockey Nation. But again, I know you hate Canada

I only watch playoff time hockey and only if the Leafs are in it, basketball gets no love in Tdot.

All I ever hear is that Hockey is awesome to see live. It's still something I want to do. I usually don't watch til Stanley Cup Finals anyway.

Or if Messier or Gretzky are playing their final games.

My dad always said: it's the most worthwhile to see hockey live. You pay for admission of one, and gets to see two sports live: hockey and boxing.

Hockey is great to watch live though, especially if the rivalry team comes into town. Whenever the Ottawa Senators come to Toronto, all those fans in an Ottawa jerseys have to donate a can of food to the food drive to be admitted with their jersey.

Games in the 1994 Stanley Cup final especially game 7 at Madison Square Garden for the Rangers clincher was SURREAL and one that will live in the of immortality for all Hockey and N.Y. Ranger fans that were there.
That being said

You don't have to do that! Just jump on the computer and order your tix the second they go on sale.

I tried to get tix to those 5 NBA Finals games I went to, and was able to get Tix each time. It isn't as impossible as some people think.

I understand the Rangers game, seeing as it was so long since they had won the Cup.

But the Yankees? I love the Bronx Bombers, but they've made winning almost blase.

Now, to be in Fenway when the BoSox win it all, or in Wrigley to see the Cubs break that damn curse, that's special.

I'd go see the Super Bowl no matter who was in it.

I'd only go see the NBA finals if the Spurs were in it, same with the World Series... Mariners have to be there.

I probably would go see the NCAA Championship only if Texas or UNC was in it.

As for Hockey, you'd have to pay me to go.
