A lesbian student who auctioned her virginity on the internet will decide who is the winner within the next 10 days. Rosie Reid, 18, will meet the five top bidders this week and will make her final choice after assessing their suitability. The Bristol University first-year social policy student has been offered up to £8400 ($20,374), which she says she will use for university fees. The biggest of hundreds of bids from around the world is from a 44-year-old man, the spokesman said. Dr. Rich??  Next highest is £8000 from a 39-year-old London "professional". The university's authorities have distanced themselves from the student's attempt to sell her virginity on a website which states: "Rosie's auction highlights the financial problems that face today's students."      |
