![]() Two women face charges stemming from a Thursday night botched armed robbery and stabbing of a 55-year-old Kenner man they met on the "Party Line," according to police. Tennell Nurse, 28, and Anjanette Bates, 34, were wounded trying to flee the scene after the alleged attack. Upon their release from Charity Hospital they will be booked with attempted first-degree murder and attempted armed robbery, Kenner police spokesman Capt. Steve Caraway said. According to investigators, the man arrived at his home with the women just before midnight. While the three were in a second-floor bedroom, one of the women sat on the man's chest while the other stabbed him 13 times in the groin, Caraway said. The victim managed to escape and call police. He was treated at East Jefferson Hospital. Both women jumped from a second-floor window, injuring themselves, and fled on foot, Caraway said. Police said the women, who were armed with two knives and a hammer, admitted to planning the robbery. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...o_wdsu/2339874 |

It's funny that you say that. I think my life has like anti-superstitious energy or something. I was the worlds most superstitious person for my entire life. I was REALLY afraid of the number thirteen. I would even look away when the microwave got to 13 seconds!! At a certain point a few years ago, I thought my life was as bad as it could get...so I told myself "Apparently the way you're doing things is NOT working, so do the opposite!" Within 2 months of doing that EVERYTHING changed. I've had the best two years of my life. I ran into some money, got my dream job, regained my "social status" and everything's been awesome since. I'm not even slightly superstitious anymore. Learn from my mistakes!
