He was a 3 time All NBA Selection and helped lead the Seattle Sonics to the 1996 Western Conference Championship. People still talk about his phenomenal performance in those 96 NBA Finals vs Chicago.
He averaged 16.4 PPG and 9.54 RPG through his first 9 seasons and was one of the games most explosive players and certainly one of its most gifted athletes. His numbers went up in the playoffs during his first 9 seasons (19PPG;11RPG) as he along with Gary Payton and George Karl made Seattle one of the leagues best teams for nearly a decade.
His play in the mid-late 90's had him possibly headed to the Hall of Fame. No doubt about that.
When people compare one of today's stars, Amare Stoudamire and his athletic gifts to you and your abilities - I'd say you made an impression.
