Walton agrees to two-year deal to stay with Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers: Free agent Luke Walton has agreed to terms with the Lakers on a two-year deal, his agent, Lon Babby told ESPN Insider Chad Ford on Wednesday.
Walton played sparingly for the Lakers last season, but he's a favorite of head coach Phil Jackson because of his passing ability and understanding of the triangle offense.
With the Lakers talking trade with the Wizards concerning a Caron Butler for Kwame Brown swap, there might be more time opening up at the small forward position for Walton next season.
