i really have very low expectations of tolliver, considering his lack of reputation, etc. hopefully, he can come out, impress the team in training camp, and surprise us all by being solid. i really can't think of much just by watchin some summer league games. his numbers from the d-league are also extremely pedestrian, not sure if that is an indicator of anything.
he is clearly in much better shape having lost weight, based on that video. i do like hearing that he played the 4, because i've been wishing so much that we could get a sf who actually played like a big man, instead of a sg masquerading as a sf. basically, the difference in being able to post, bang, and grab rebounds is very significant and much needed for us. i've wanted a legit big forward for quite some time already, and sadly it looks like we had to look through the d-league/summer camp to find someone to fill that role, but i'll hope for the best.
