I was just looking at the Rockets roster and salaries on HoopsHype, and when I saw Barry's I couldn't belive how low it was for. Did the Spurs not think he was worth 4 million for 2 years?? To me that would be a no brainer, especially since he knows the system, was having his best year as a Spurs before getting hurt last year, and contributed huge in the playoffs when he was actually given some playing time. He was the ONE Spur who can drain the wide open three so many other role players on our team can't seem to hit.
Here is what they have his salary at on that site
08/09 = 1,910,000
09/10 = 2,062,800
If that is truly the contract he got, I can't belive the Spurs didn't think he was worth that. Its as bad as giving Bonner the contract we did while thinking Scola wasn't worth the same and giving him away for nothing.
