I'd have to agree on both counts. But in my mind, there were some NBA coaches who had fair-average luck winning who were low key, did the best they could with what they had and, in my opinion, I thought were pretty good coaches such as: Lenny Wilkins, Gene Shue, Al Attles, Stan Albeck, George Karl, Rudy Tomjanovich, Larry Brown, Rick Adelman, Don Nelson.
