I think Lebron's best option is to ride it out another year in Miami and see what happens.

I'm assuming from Wade's comments he won't take less $. So if that's his stance, if I'm Lebron I opt out, re-sign a deal with an opt out next summer and then see what happens this next year. If the team can't get better and Wade continues to decline, then you bolt for somewhere else-- and the thing is, next summer NY will have $ to pay him. And they will have had another year of sucking to get a draft pick. LAL will be in a similar position.

And if you wait till summer 2015 to join the NYK or the LAL, each team will have 2 more lottery picks added to the roster by then.
