You get no argument from me on that. And I would assume that if TP, or any other NBA player in that case, were to get hurt in these games, their parent team, to whom they have a contract with, would probably have to flip the hospital bill for necessary health care coverage and rehabilitation. I would think there would have to be a clause in their contract to protect the parent club in cases like this, if it’s not already included, ie, forfeiture of pay, etc etc. But then you open up a possible scenario where the player feels he’s not appreciated and backed by his parent club and demands a trade thru the media. Catch-22.
