During the regular season, Sean Elliott and Bill Land’s halftime game analysis always had a comment about turnovers, whether the total was too high or low enough to compete. Sean always preached that when you turn the ball over without getting a viable shot at the rim will always come back to bite you. And turning the ball over too much against a team of the Heat’s caliber, particularly in a playoff scenario, would be like digging a hole you can’t get out of. Looks like 9 days off and a little practice time could be paying dividends.
