I'm not one to jump to Dan-tony's defense of his lack of bench utilization, but the fault here lies with management. There were only about 8 pro basketball players on that whole team almost all of whom are older than dirt. The rest are terrible.

I seriously faulted him in Phoenix because he had years to recruit a bench and the wiggle room to give lesser players playing time to develop, but instead chose to run his guys into the ground. With LA, first, he just doesn't have the space to give his guys more PT because they are fighting for a playoff spot. Second, I get the feeling he doesn't have much say in personnel decisions otherwise they would have moved Pau for those sorely needed bench pieces.
