I love TP and the Spurs, but take off the silver glasses people. LeBron is averaging 27ppg-8rpg-7apg at a 57% clip while playing D on 5 positions, 4 of them pretty well. He averages 3 turnovers a game while being responsible for 2.5 steals+blocks a game. By no statistical measure is Parker the better player. Giving him an MVP this year would be akin to giving it to Malone in 98 or Magic in 90, Jordan was the best player by any measure those years but didn't win. People get tired of the same person winning it, they also tend not to like front-runners, but that doesn't mean that they don't deserve to keep winning the award.
