it's not insane, although i won't buy Broussard's reporting since he's very "general" on it.
let's be realistic though. Hawks aren't going to re-sign him and they'll take any good or decent player to make it happen. teams are going to low ball the Hawks since they know this, so why not ask for a good 3 point shooter to go with Al Horford's inside game or Splitter to compliment Horford in the paint if they can get him long term? right now, Green or Splitter may be the best two trade assets we have over anyone else in the league for a deal like this.
