And who can forget the infamous draft of 1984 when Portland named Sam Bowie as the 2nd pick in the draft over some guy by the name of Michael Jordan. I have no doubt in my feeble mind that if for whatever reason Kenneth Faried had been available when the Spurs drafted at 29, they would have snatched him up so fast it would have made your head swim. Of course, he wasn't available and Denver got him and we took Cory Joseph as the 29th pick and eventually we traded George Hill for Kawhi Leonard and made out like bandits anyway.
