BAYLOR IS RANKED! (HONEST)

Rivals.com had the Baylor bears ranked 72nd in the nation and said they didn’t have a chance to compete in the Big XII South. They said that Texas and Oklahoma would be too much for a Baylor team that had too many holes to fill.
After eight weeks of competition the Baylor Bears are ranked 25th in all three polls (Texas is not ranked in any) and sits in a three way tie with Oklahoma and Oklahoma State in the Big XII South division.
Winning is not something that the football fans at Baylor are accustomed to. Since joining the Big XII in 1996 the Bears have gone 35-101. The last time they had a winning season was back in 1995 when they went 7-4. Their last bowl game was the season prior to that, a loss in the Alamo Bowl to Washington State 10-3.
Much of the success is due to the stellar play of quarterback Robert Griffin. Griffin passed for more than 400 yards in last Saturday’s win over Kansas State 47-42. He is also ranked third in the nation in overall offense behind only Michigan’s Denard Robinson and Hawaii’s Bryant Moniz. READ MORE AT MVPTEXAS.COM
