Well I'm not saying nicks is a number 1 . But mark my words, he will be the Giants leading receiver. Steve smith had a good year, that's it. Well, half a good year until defense's gameplanned for him. I would also take crabtree, but Alex smith has to be a concern, weak opponents or not. Also, whoever has Steve smith as their number one, is in trouble. Having other good receivers on the team can be a good thing.. Take attention away from Nicks. Defenses can focus on crabtree being that he is the only threat outside of Davis.
