Go Huskers suddenly has new meaning and its latest connotation likely means the end of the Big 12 Conference.
Nebraska has accepted an invitation to join the Big Ten and will announce its intentions Friday, two sources with knowledge of the situation told the San Antonio Express-News on Wednesday.
Reports had surfaced out of Ohio, Nebraska and Texas on Wednesday claiming Nebraska was preparing to accept an invitation from the Big Ten.
Also, Texas and Texas A&M haven't ruled out becoming members of the Southeastern Conference, a source said.
Texas officials confirmed Wednesday that there's a meeting scheduled between A&M and UT leaders today to discuss their potential courses of action.
