Faced with a Florida back-to-back, Spurs needed to win at least one. The die was cast when SA lost that big lead in Miami.
The best case scenario would have seen the Spurs hold their huge lead, rest their main guys and go into Orlando strong. When the lead got whittled, Pop had to play for a Heat win, knowing that the team would take its lumps against the Magic.
I'm afraid that most of us saw the Orlando whippin' coming...
