We can't beat the Lakers playing without Kobe. We can't beat the Jazz at home. The Mavericks have always had our number, and as long as Nowitzki can still breathe, they always will. I wouldn't close the door on Denver either.
There are four teams in the Western conference who the Spurs could NOT beat in a 7 game series. An older team could have done it perhaps but not this year.
