NFL to rebroadcast blacked-out games on Net

The National Football League will make blacked-out NFL games available to view on NFL.com, the league said Thursday.
The games will be available for free, beginning at midnight on game day and for 72 hours thereafter, according to a news release.
“We understand that the economy is limiting some families and corporations from buying as many game tickets as they had previously,” said Roger Goodell, NFL commissioner, in the release. “These free rebroadcasts on NFL.com will allow our fans that can’t get to a blacked-out game an opportunity to see the entire game.”
The Cincinnati Bengals, which has sold out all of its home games for the past five years, began offering single-game tickets in August, as season ticket sales fell.
The NFL Network, available on cable and satellite, also rebroadcasts games during the week.
