July 4th was another sizzler in San Antonio as a record high temperature of 103 was recorded by the National Weather Service.
On a day when the normal reading was 94, the mercury hit 103 at 4:41 p.m., surpassing the 100 degree mark that stood as the record since 2005.
While today’s forecast calls for a high of 100 degrees, a slight cooling trend is expected to begin Monday. Although no rain is in the forecast, readings throughout the week are expected to be in the high 90s. High of 103 degrees breaks heat record
