Plane Crashes Into Home In Buffalo New York
48 People Aboard Commuter Plane, Says FAA

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- New York state police say a 50-passenger commuter plane has crashed into a home in suburban Buffalo, N.Y.
State Trooper John Manthey said the plane hit a house in Clarence at about 10:10 p.m. Thursday. The house was engulfed in a massive fireball.
The Feeral Aviation Administraion said the flight was Continental airlines flight 3407 was running about two hours late on a trip between Newark, N.J. and to Buffalo.
The FAA confirmed said there were 48 people aboard the airplane.
Authorities have not said what happened to the passengers and crew of the plane, they said two people who were not aboard the plane were taken from the crash site to area hospitals.
The FAA was working to seal off the area soon after the crash.
