Slumdog was a badass movie
Very Realistic, Very accurate depiction of what goes on in Underprivileged children Lives. I've visited India many times, you'd be horrified to see kids sleeping on the sidewalks, bands of children at every intersection in the bad parts of town with several limbs missing. It's very very sad.
The other movie I can say is very realistic is The Wrestler.
But I think Slumdog Wins Hands Down.
My parents are from India and I'm Indian-American (obviously lol) and I saw this movie and what an amazing movie. It's one of those things that if unless you're Indian or been to India, you won't get the full extent of the story portrayed in this movie.
For me, it was similar to watching "The Namesake."
