I got really good news yesterday. I met w/the retina specialist who did my laser surgery for a recheck and not only did the procedure stop the vision loss in my right eye, it actually improved my vision somewhat, which is better than anybody hoped for.

(pre surgery, I was down to 20/40 w/glasses--now I'm at 20/25) The retina guy cut me loose and now I just have to go for periodic checkups with my ophthalmologist.
Let me be a lesson to everyone here: keep your blood glucose levels under control and save your eyesight.
