Obviously, minor league teams can't churn up the same interest as a pro team would. But, having high attendence at minor league game definitely would help SA chances of landing a pro team. Look at Round Rock which started off as a AA team just 7 years ago. After 4 years of just
shattering AA as well as ALL minor attendence records, they seriously increased the number of seats at Dell diamond and received a AAA team.
I'm sure if this was the case in SA, everyone would be using the increase in attendence as a reason for getting and deserving a pro-team.
